Haines Stampede Rodeo Exhibit is Out of the Chute

Work is underway by the Haines Stampede Rodeo Association and EO Museum volunteers to create a permanent exhibit celebrating the rodeo’s presence in Baker County since 1915.

The exhibit will showcase the many historic records and artifacts surrounding the iconic local event.

The Eastern Oregon Museum is honored the Haines Stampede Rodeo Association has agreed to house its collection on site.

Antique stampede ribbons, photos, trophies, buckles, banners, western memorabilia and more are on display in the museum’s Carriage Wing.

Funding provided by the Oregon Cultural Trust, The Eastern Oregon Museum, and The Haines Stampede Rodeo Association.
